Bay Sheffield 2012.....

Congratulations to the Grange Beach Team for their fantastic efforts at the 2012 Bay Sheffield

The Bay Sheffield carnival is SA's premier professional footrace, held at Colley Reserve (Glenelg) on Proclamation Day.

Achievements of Beach team members at this carnival were as follows:

Open 120m - Winner: J Caldow

Under 20 120m - Winner T Sanderson

Under 18 120m - Winner S Osmond

Other finalists in the U'18 120m were S Donovan and L Sheffield

Boardies Day .....

Would you like to ditch your work clothes and wear board shorts for the day instead?

With the support of your employer, you can! By being a part of Surf Life Saving national fundraising day, BOARDIES DAY, you can dress down in your favourite beach-themed gear and support the vital work of surf lifesavers with a donation at the same time.

Boardies Day is an annual fundraising initiative of the Surf Life Saving Foundation. The 2012 event will be held on Friday 24 February.

Funds raised will help provide volunteer lifesavers of the Grange SLSC with the equipment and training to do what we do best – save lives!

2012 Australian SLS Titles .....

It has recently been announced that the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships will take place at Kurrawa Beach on Queensland’s Gold Coast from Mon March 26 – Sun April 1, 2012.

2012 World Titles to be held in Adelaide .....

The 2012 World Surf Life Saving Titles will be held in Adelaide from November 7 to 18, 2012 at the following venues:

- Christies Beach

- Glenelg Beach

- Marion Pool

2016 Australian SLS Titles .....

It was announced in September 2011 that the 2016 Aussie Titles will be held at the Sunshine Coast.

Nippers Training - Saturday Afternoons

Nipper training occurs on Saturday afternoons between mid-October and mid-March each year.

To register (or re-new your registration) please visit the Club (refer to map for details) from 12:30pm on Saturday afternoons.
